2. The Haunted Rose Hall Great House
Built in 1770, the house sits on a hill overlooking the ocean and features breathtaking views along with beautiful gardens.
Also known for its history of slavery, the house offers very historic and educational day and night tours. Night tours feature haunted house themes with lots of scary surprises, and the rumor has it that a ghost named Annie Palmer still roams the house. Definitely an exciting and fun activity to do in MoBay.
3. ATV Adventure at Sandy Bay
If you’re feeling adventurous and up for some adrenaline, embark in this thrilling off-road tour aboard an ATV or Dune Buggy through Sandy Bay. This ride will take you through plantation ruins and countryside living.
4. Explore Downtown
Sam Sharpe Square – heart of downtown, the square is full of culture and a great place to have a historical overview of Jamaica’s slavery period.
Hip Strip – just 10 minutes drive – Popular tourist street in Montego Bay, located on Gloucester Avenue, with plenty of shopping outlets, eateries, art galleries, and museums. While visiting the strip, make sure to sample some delicious Jamaican Cuisine, such the Pelicans, Scotchie’s, Chill Out hut, Pier One, Juici, and Tastee.
